I’m from Barcelona but I keep moving around the world to find where I belong. I love creating, making mistakes, learning and my biggest fear is being bored.
Any spare minute I have during the day, I spend it crafting. One day I want to be able to create anything I need…

I love making things
I’ve always been into sewing but my turning point was in 2013. At that time I was 17 and micro shorts were trendy. It was impossible to find normal trousers in the shops so I decided I was done with trends and that it was time for me to start defining my own style.
I’ve had hobbies all my life, and sometimes I stick to them and sometimes not. That’s why before buying a sewing machine I challenged myself to make something by hand. My first piece was a basic skirt.
That first experience was a mess. The skirt was horrible, the seams were uneven, the elastic broke after 20 minutes, but I loved the experience. That’s when I bought my first sewing machine.
Since then I’ve had 4 machines, I’ve made a million mistakes, I’ve tried every single stitch type and I’ve discovered pattern drafting.
I think people get too scared when they see drafting for the first time, but I’m a Civil Engineer and I love a good challenge. I’m also an organisation freak and I love to document and show others easy ways of doing the same.
This is why I started this page, to share all the knowledge and find a better way to engage as many people as possible. I believe anyone can do it! So as a summary, hi! I’m Nuria, I was born in Barcelona in 1995 and I’m a creative Engineer. Do you want to join me?
