Ready to build your own library of sewing patterns? Here you have a Trouser Pattern Organiser Template. A downloadable A4 pdf that comes with a cover for each foundation (Culottes, Trousers, Slacks and Jeans) and a template for the design Project Plan.

  • Sizing information – Our bodies change all the time, remember what size you were when you made the pattern
  • Fabric requirements – What type of fabric is needed for the structure? How much lining or interfacing do you need?

  • Design drawing – We al know good drawings make good fashion designers!

How I sort my patterns: I like to have a binder with transparent sleeves for every type of garment in my wardrobe. I organise the patterns per foundation, starting with the cover and then the template for each design. I draft the pattern pieces in thin paper and store them inside the sleeve behind the template.

How to print the file: Follow the default printer settings
